HomeSeal PRO Unveiled
Hey – with all the excitement around here regarding Aeroseal’s global expansion and the mounting number of project-saving duct sealing jobs we’ve added to our roster, I forgot to mention something… Aeroseal just unveiled HomeSeal PRO – the latest reiteration of our residential duct sealing system. For HVAC pros thinking of adding aeroseal, this new system is all about increased productivity and an opportunity to better serve customers. For homeowners, it’s all about increased satisfaction and an opportunity to better engage with their service provider.
While there are a number of upgrades in this new system, the biggest advancement with HomeSeal PRO is the addition of powerful wireless capabilities. Now, a technician that was once tethered to the duct sealing equipment during the entire process is free to move about. Using a portable tablet, the worker can facilitate the entire computer-controlled duct sealing process from anywhere in or around the house. All system monitoring and adjustments, including process pause, can now be performed remotely, allowing the technician to do ongoing inspections and other tasks, while simultaneously performing the actual sealing. This includes engaging with the homeowner while ensuring a smooth operation.
In fact, with just a bit of planning and the use of a gas generator, the HomeSeal PRO can be operated from within the service truck. This could potentially eliminate time-consuming on-the-job equipment setup and teardown routines, making the entire duct sealing process faster and less obtrusive.
