Meet Kruthi: A Software Developer Who Learns More To Do More

Kruthi, born and raised in India, finished off her Master’s in the United States. With a double Master’s in Information Systems Technologies/Information Assurance and Computer Science/Algorithms & Theory of Computing, her credentials might lead you to believe she was done learning. But Kruthi was in fact, just beginning. After graduating, she embarked on a job search. Eager to start her career, she was looking for a company committed to a mission she believes in. And she also wanted a team that she can learn from and grow alongside. This search led her to Aeroseal.

With all Kruthi’s criteria aligning at Aeroseal, it clicked. “At that moment, I saw that I belong here.”

It all began with the interview process. She recalled how, when she was interviewing, she could tell Aeroseal was transparent and rational throughout, from hiring to onboarding.

Now, Kruthi is a Software Developer at Aeroseal. And learning is as critical now as it was when she was a graduate student. Her former education was foundational, but at Aeroseal, she feels she is building on that foundation – applying what she’s learned.

In addition to articulating and writing software code, she is helping tackle energy expenditure and conservation in homes across the globe. By modifying the software that makes that mission possible, in turn, Kruthi is combatting climate change.

Kruthi wanted to join in on an effort that is more than just a job. Aeroseal is pushing to shrink CO2 emissions by 1 gigaton every year by targeting energy that is lost to leaky ductwork in homes and buildings. This is an effort that calls on champions like her to help support it.
