Webinar Summary

  • Date: Thursday, December 6, 2018
  • Time: 1:30 PM ET

A new duct sealing method provides Alexandra Hospital with an opportunity for significant energy savings while performing HVAC triage. In an effort to meet TAB specifications, engineers use a new computerized duct sealing process that quickly seals leaky ductwork without the demolition, reconstruction and disruptions that typically makes traditional duct sealing prohibitive. Final results lead to a $59,000+ annual energy savings for one of the fastest ROIs available.

Webinar Objectives

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of both the clear and the not-so-obvious ways in which duct leakage impacts overall energy usage.
  • Learn about current available duct sealing methods, including the pros and cons of each and a detailed review of the latest breakthroughs in duct sealing technology.
  • Discover how engineers at Alexandra Hospital implemented a new approach to duct sealing and solved a previously “unsolvable” HVAC issue while realizing nearly $60,000 in annual energy savings.
  • Learn about other medical facilities, as well as hotels, office buildings, universities and other commercial buildings that have quickly realized significant energy savings through effective duct sealing.
