Aeroseal duct sealing is a patented, computerized duct sealing process that tackles duct leaks from the inside out. This unique inside-out approach makes it possible to quickly and easily seal the entire duct system — even sections that are hidden behind walls, under insulation, through tight spaces, or other inaccessible locations. Aeroseal duct sealing is owned and manufactured by Aeroseal, LLC with presence in three continents and all 50 U.S. states.

The Aeroseal process puts escaping air under pressure and causes polymer particles to stick first to the edges of a leak, then to each other until the leak is completely sealed. The Aeroseal sealant is non-toxic and has been used in homes, hospitals, schools, apartment buildings, and other facilities where health is of paramount concern.

Air duct leakage is a pervasive concern, affecting the majority of new construction homes, existing homes, and commercial buildings. Aeroseal duct sealing enhances comfort by balancing temperature differences between rooms and floors, improves health and safety of indoor air by reducing allergens and pollutants in the air stream, increases energy efficiency, and allows the HVAC equipment to perform “as advertised.”

The Aeroseal product and process has won numerous industry awards including: AHR Product of the Year, Gold Medal-Product Innovation Award, Best New Product Award-This Old House, “Best of What’s New” Award from Popular Science Magazine, EBie Award-Green Building Council, and the “Energy 100″ Award from the Department of Energy (DOE).
