The study was conducted by Comfort Institute (CI), an international indoor comfort research, training and consumer education organization, with support and assistance from the Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance (GCEA), a nonprofit organization with a mission to facilitate investment in energy efficiency and renewable energy projects for the purpose of reducing carbon emissions.
