It’s Back to School Time!

It’s that time of year already

Kids are waiting at the bus stop, backpack in hand, and anxious for their day to begin. We do our best to make sure they start their morning with a healthy breakfast, we pack a nutritious lunch, help them with their homework, and tuck them in by 9:00. We hope our efforts are not in vain and our kids stay healthy and happy this school year. However, sometimes the indoor air inside our home is behind some of our kids health issues. Poor indoor air quality (IAQ) has been linked to symptoms such as headaches, fatigue, lack of concentration, and irritation of the eyes, nose, throat and lungs. Many factors affect IAQ in your home

These factors include poor ventilation, temperature differences, high or low humidity and leaky ducts. Sometimes, specific contaminants such as mold, cleaning supplies or pesticides can cause poor IAQ. If you are concerned that some of these factors may be contributing to your child’s health, give us a call.  We can survey your home and perform diagnostic tests to assist in improving your indoor air quality.
