AeroBarrier’s X1 sealant is GreenGuard Gold Certified – guaranteeing Ultra-Low Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and is completely safe for schools, hospitals, and your home.

GreenGuard is a standard from UL Environment, an independent institution that scientifically measures environmentally safe indoor air quality, and strives to, “…protect human health and quality of life by establishing standards and certification programs to reduce exposure to chemicals and to improve indoor air quality.” The standards used during the tests are some of the most stringent standards in the world, using national and international standards.

To achieve these arduous benchmarks – they place products in an Environmental Chamber and undergo intense examination. This process is extremely vigorous – comparing the test results to not just one, but numerous environmental standards, such as ASTM, U.S Environmental Protection Agency standards, California’s Department of Public Health environmental testing, and more.
